Roza Abdulkhairova – Honored Artist of Uzbekistan. Began her professional career in 1992 in Tashkent.
She was fond of dancing from her childhood and began to acquire dancing art under the headship of experienced ballet masters. She attend many dancing coteries getting basic knowledge of ballet art and the art of world dances.
In 1992 she became a prizewinner of Republican Competition “Bodom Gillari” (Almont Flowers) which took place in Tashkent. And after the competition she was offered a job in Uzbek State Phil harmony in “Zarafshan” ensemble under the leadership of Uzbekistan People’s Artist Ahmadjon Shukurov and People’s Artist-ballet master Viloyat Akilova.
Roza worked in “Zarafshon” ensemble from 1992 – 1994, but at the same time from the end of 1993 she performed with Uzbek State Honored Ensemble “Yalla” under the leadership of Uzbek People’s Artist Farruh Zakirov. In August 1994 she was officially invited by Farruh Zakirov to work in “Yalla” ensemble. From 1994 – 2000 active performance in “Yalla” ensemble.

From 2000 till present days the soloist artist of Uzbeknavo Variety Arts Association.

Roza Abdulkhairova entered the Uzbek National University in 1999. Now she is on her 5th year of education of economic faculty on correspondence education.

Her repertoire includes the following dances:
Ferghana’s, Bukhara’s, Khorezm’s, Tadjik’s, Turkish, Uigurian, Greek, Spanish, Indian, Korean, Gypsy and Arabian.

She is permanent performer of all national holidays like “Mustakillik” (Independence Day), “Navruz” (Spring Holiday), “City’s Anniversary”, “Shark Taronalari” (East Star) festival etc.

In 1996 awarded “Shukhrat” medal.
In 1998 awarded a title of Honored Artist of Uzbekistan.

   The famous dancer Roza Abdulkhairova Honored Artist of Uzbekistan is one of the brightest stars of today's Uzbek dancing scene. Roza began her professional career in Tashkent, in 1992.

Roza is a dancer of wide profile. In her dances you can see unusual wealth of national spirit and national picturesque pecularities. The composition and movements of all her dances are difficult and have complicated techique. But technique is not the sole purpose for Roza, it is only means of expression of inward world of her images.

Roza Abdulkhairova with identical successful performs dances of 3 main lines of Uzbek dancing - Ferghana's, Bukhara's and Horezm's school which differs upon their style, character, temperament and movements to a marked degree. Creative work with Viloyat Akilova, People's Artist of Uzbekistan, one of the famous ballet masters of Uzbekistan, a representative of the Akilov's, the dynasty of dancers promoted to growth and forming of Roza as a dancer a lot.

 

 

Every Roza's dance is absolutely perfect and looks like the thinnest lacy pattern of golden strings, which she embroiders the "suzane" of her dance with. "Roza! Roza! Roza!", the whole audience applauded and the stage was filled with flowers.

 

 

 

 

During her solo concerts in Tokyo and Komatsu, Japan (in May, 1996) dance masters were delighted with the mastery of the Uzbek dancer. They admired her plasticity and artistic talent. Spectators especially admire Arabian dance performed by Roza. It has complicated technique.

 

Roza has possibility to exchange creative experience with Arabian dancersduring her stay abroad. But she creates her dance like a synthesis of plastic dance and the famous "belly dance", which makes it very original.

 

Scince 1993 Roza has worked with the ethno-pop group "Yalla" under the guidance of People's Artist of Uzbekistan Farruh Zakirov. Their mutual work is very fruitful for both.

Roza Abdulkhairova was awarded the medal "Shukhrat" and received the title of the Honored Artist of Uzbekistan according to her achievements in developing of Uzbek dancing.
